What is Twitter?
It took me a while to figure out what Twitter is and what role it will play in my workday. But the answer dawned on me finally - and somewhat amusingly - at home tonight.
Twitter is asynchronous multicast IM.
Which I guess would make it AMIM.
I can leave a Twitter message and others can leave them for me, but they’re asynchronous like email, only without the deliverability issues of email.
